This work is a large-scale oil painting on canvas (160cm x110cm). The scene is from the Great Karoo somewhere between Calvinia and Ceres in South Africa.

Working in mixed media, including acrylic and oil paint and collage, this is the first in a series of landscapes inspired by the Karoo in South Africa. The piece is approximately 110cm x 70cm.
